Questions People Ask Belt Suppliers

belt_1

As belt suppliers we often get questions from customers who need help choosing the right belt.  Some of the most frequently asked questions we hear include:

Do you have this belt in stock? As belt suppliers to many commercial clients, Twin City Filter Service has many belts in stock. If we don’t have what you need, we can order it. We often receive belts the next day so you can be up and running in no time.

What does the term belt strength mean? Belt strength refers to the maximum tension a belt can take. It’s measured per foot or per meter of length that the belt can continually run at.

I installed a new belt, but it’s making a squealing noise. Why is that? The replacement belt is slipping. It may be too loose or not placed correctly.

What kind of belts do you have in stock? Twin City Filter Service stocks V-belts, cog belts, synchronous belts, PowerBand joined belts, long length belting, round endless belts, and link belts. Again, if there’s an unusual type of belt that you need, ask us. We can probably find a source for it quickly from our large network of suppliers.

Twin City Filter Service is more than just a belt supplier. We’re filter experts too, offering for sale residential and commercial filters of all types. We can also make custom filters on demand based on your specifications.

Twin City Filter Service ships same day to customers coast to coast, and offer next day delivery in the Twin Cities area, greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota. Twin City Filter Service may be reached at (612) 721-4000.
